This book was a roller coaster of emotions for me (in a good way!). Parts of this book caused me to feel angry, sad, disappointed, excited, curious and then relieved. The dynamic between the characters truly brought the book through a full circle and left a lasting impression on me.
I rated this book 5/5 stars on Goodreads. One of the main reasons why I loved this book is because of the character, Mr. Terupt. Mr. Terupt is one of those teachers that are able to leave a positive effect on every single student they encounter.
This book is amazing to teach students about friendship, bullying, following directions and that actions always have a consequence (whether that consequence be positive or negative). I truly believe that every middle school aged individual should read this book.
